Dayparting

Dayparting

In the context of Seenspire, dayparting allows you to schedule a specific feed within a Stream to automatically start or stop playing at designated dates and times.

To set up dayparting, navigate to "Stream options" and select "Feed order and duration".

Under the "Manage Stream" tab → Click the calendar icon of the feed you want to schedule and fill in the date and time fields.
The fields "Start Date" and "Start time" are mandatory fields.
The fields "End Date" and "End time" are optional fields.

Click "Save" to save your schedule.

Possible dayparting configurations:

1. Start date + Start time : The feed will rotate starting from that date and time.

In the example below: The Traffic feed will start playing from September 1st at 4 PM and keep rotating indefinitely.

2. Start date + Start time + End date: The feed will rotate starting from the specified date and time until the end date. The feed will stop rotating once it reaches the end date.

In the example below: The Traffic feed will start playing from September 1st at 4 PM and stop rotating at the end of the day on September 14th.

3. Start date + Start time + End time: The feed will rotate starting from that date and only between the start time and end time.

In the example below: The Traffic feed will start playing from September 1st, everyday between 4 and 6 PM. The Traffic feed will keep rotating between 4 and 6 PM on daily basis indefinitely.

4. Start date + Start time + End date + End time: The feed will rotate starting from that start date between start time and end time until the end date.

In the example below: The Traffic feed will start playing from September 1st, everyday between 4 and 6 PM. The Traffic feed will keep rotating between 4 and 6 PM until September 14th.
