How can I connect my Yammer account to Seenspire?
As an Account Owner or Manager, you can add a new source connection.
To connect your Yammer account to Seenspire, follow the steps below:
Step 1: Navigate to Source Connections
Click on your Account Name in the upper right-hand corner, then select Source Connections.
Step 2: Click on Add Source
Click Add Source, select Yammer from the dropdown list, and follow the authentication flow.
To connect your Yammer account to Seenspire, you need Admin rights in Yammer.
If you do not have admin rights in Yammer, you can request approval from your organization's admin.
After successfully connecting your Yammer to Seenspire, you can see the new source under Source Connections.
You can create as many feeds as you want with Yammer as a content source without being prompted for authentication each time.
Step 3: Create a Collaboration Feed
Create a Collaboration Feed and select Yammer as the content source. If you need more information on creating a Collaboration feed, read this article.
Step 4: Get Yammer content on your screens.
In Yammer, select the group you want to source content from. Start a new conversation and compose the message you want to show on your screens. When you're ready, click "Post".
If you chose "Manual curation" when creating the feed, the post will be added to the queue of "Pending Posts" to be curated in the Yammer feed you created in Seenspire.
If you have selected "Auto-approve", the post will be automatically approved and displayed on your screens.
Currently, if you edit a post after it has been pulled by Seenspire, you will not be able to see the changes on your screens.
