How can I set up a trial account for a lead?

To set up a trial account for a lead, navigate to: Dashboard > Partner > Leads.

Here, you will find a list with Leads you have added: people who may be interested in Seenspire, but do not have a trial account yet.

Setting up a trial for a lead

Creating a lead also creates an "empty" Seenspire account that you manage.

Navigate to your name in the top right corner > click the dropdown > switch account > customer name.

The page will now reload and take you to this lead's Seenspire account.

You now have full control. A few tips:

  • Use the lead's company colors and logos in the Branding settings.
  • Create or add a few relevant channels to inspire them. You can showcase the full range of options in Seenspire, rather than the basic Weather and News feeds.

Use the same dropdown to switch back to your own Partner account when you are done.

Converting a lead to an active trial user

Once the trial account is ready, you can convert this lead to a trial user.

Navigate to: Dashboard > Partner > Leads.

In the list of Leads, find the one you want to convert to an active trial.

  1. Click the "heads" button on the right.
  2. In the pop-up, fill out the contact information for the lead. They will receive their invitation email on the email address you provide, so make sure it's correct.
  3. Select a plan.
  4. Select Trial from the dropdown.
  5. Click Convert to Account.

This lead will now receive an invitation email to start his trial. Once he sets a password and logs in, he will see the content you provided for him, ready to go!
